The list of candidates for the upcoming Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) elections has been released by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the RSS’s student political wing. The ABVP has finalized a list of candidates for the DUSU positions in advance of the elections that will be announced by the university administration.
ABVP Candidates For DUSU Elections
The list includes notable names such as Tushar Dedha, Vaibhav Chaudhary, Sushant Dhankar, Ashish Singh, Ankita Biswas, Muskan Bedi, Aparajita, Rahul Dedha, Aman Kapasiya, Himanshu Nagar, Sachin Baisla, Bhanu Pratap Singh, Saransh Bhati, Balkishan Chowdhary, Rishabh Chowdhary, Rishiraj Singh, and Akash Yadav. The ABVP has made it clear that only the final four candidates from this list will be chosen for the DUSU Central Panel.
ABVP Begins Campaigning For Elections
The ABVP is commencing its pre-campaign in all of the colleges that are affiliated with Delhi University to begin their campaigning. By grouping the student leaders into various categories, this tactic engages students from all 52 colleges and departments at once. This strategy attempts to engage more students and convey the ABVP’s platform for the upcoming DUSU elections.
The ABVP will start its campaign on Monday and run it through the election day, which is set for September 22. Through its candidates, who have a thorough awareness of these topics, the organization intends to address student-related challenges. The ABVP has emphasized its dedication to an agenda that is centered on students and plans to communicate this agenda to students through conversations and exchanges.
The ABVP will publish a manifesto as part of their campaign after having meetings with university students. The election procedure will be completed on September 12 because that date has been specified as the enrolment cut-off by the Delhi University administration. This election comes after a hiatus, with the previous DUSU elections taking place in 2019.
